Innovation and enterprise support

j4b is expert in the development of portal systems to help facilitate knowledge transfer, innovation and financial support. This includes developing the national Irish Expertise Portal, the recently launched Irish Framework 7 Portal, and the bilingual Wielkopolska Regional Innovation portal. j4b also has considerable experience in the development of online portals to support the European Frameworks programme for R&D.


Government information dissemination

j4b is a market leader in the development of tools to disseminate funding and support information, and works across government to support the publication of large scale information resources.


Third sector and regeneration

j4b is a leading provider of information and technology solutions to help infrastructure organisations support the increasingly important third sector.

Significant projects have included the development of the national government funding site Governmentfunding.org.uk, shortlisted for best Charity website, as well as developing online portals for the Directory of Social Change (Trustfunding.org.uk, Companygiving.org.uk, Grantsforindividuals.org.uk) and Social Enterprise Coalition.

We have piloted a Community Portal concept with the Oldham Collective, incorporating a highly structured organisations database with a one-stop-shop information hub for social enterprise and third sector organisations.

j4b is also actively involved in developing online solutions to support the regeneration and sustainable communities agenda, with clients including BURA and the IGNITE, the North East Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Communities.
